Biography

Sparkle diva Rita Daniela started in showbiz at 10 years old after winning the first season of "PopStar Kids." As she grew older, Rita has shown great promise as a dancer and actress as well, making her the total package. Her earliest acting projects saw her portraying kontrabidas where she drew the ire of avid viewers with her excellent acting in shows such as "Villa Quintana," "Strawberry Lane," and "Let The Love Begin." Rita's biggest break came in the form of "My Special Tatay" where her unexpected chemistry with co-star Ken Chan rocketed the both of them to nationwide fame. Afterwards, Rita has proceeded to breathe life into unorthodox leading lady roles like that of Jowalyn in "One Of The Baes" and Mia in "Ang Dalawang Ikaw." Aside from acting, Rita also hosts "The Clash" and is a regular performer on "All-Out Sundays." She has also dabbled in theater as well, appearing in "Maynila, Sa Mga Kuko Ng Liwanag" and "Eto Na! Musikal nAPO!".
